FLORES TEXTILE STUDIO
Located in Praça das Flores, one of the most typical square of Lisbon, FLORES is a textile showroom and interior design studio founded by 2 friends: Valentina Pilia, Italian and interior designer, part of Pierre Yovanovich studio in Paris before moving to Lisbon and Emma Pucci, a french-swiss architect who also worked in the film industry as a Production Designer.
Both Emma and Valentina are textile lovers for many years – Emma spent a lot of time in India and Valentina in Morocco, countries where their passion for artisans started…
Soon after moving to Lisbon Emma and Valentina really wanted to create their own studio where they could meet their clients for interior design projects – Praça Flores seemed the best place to do it : a charming square still very authentic with its local cafés and corner shops, but also very close to São Bento’s antique dealers.
ABOUT THE TEXTILE STUDIO
Beside the studio , the idea of a natural textiles showroom, came from the desire to preserve the work of artisans using ancient processes, thus preserving customs, and to collaborate with them to offer durable pieces for today’s interiors.
So Emma and Valentina created their own brand Flores: handwoven rugs and fabrics made in Portugal and a collection of "essential pieces" of furniture produced by Portuguese artisans.
Flores is also a showroom with an exclusive selection of handmade textiles brands from different parts of the world and it is opened to private clients as well as professionals.
